Welcome ~

Thank you for taking a peek at my Blog. It's a great place to unveil my work and write about my sessions and share my personal world.

I have been taking pictures for a very long time. It all began with my father’s film camera & curiosity. I loved photographing my friends in stylish outfits and lot's of makeup! Nothing has changed since those days. I still love what I do. Whether it's capturing your precious newborn baby's first smile or recording your first vows, I will enthusiastically be there. Photographing your special moments as well as the unexpected ones will be my priority as well as my pleasure.

Tea Cakes

My Dad was over the other day enjoying some soccer and his grandson. It seemed like a perfect time to break out these perfect little treats and swish them down with some Jasmine tea. An enjoyable Saturday afternoon.

Be Mine

Are you ready to make those sweet little Valentines cards? Or maybe you’re going to propose? Or you’re going out with friends to celebrate the anti-valentines day. Whatever it may be, enjoy the reds, pinks and most of all the chocolate. mmmm.

Local Love

Recently I read on Twitter that one of the wedding trends of 2010 was farm dinners and the writer didn’t understand why. Another vendor simply replied that in California, this trend was totally understandable because we have so much local food to choose from. I have to agree. There is nothing more wonderful than to celebrate what surrounds you. In Northern California, we get to enjoy everything from organic fruits and vegetables, creameries that are to die for, to local wine and grass fed meat and poultry. Yummmm…..

Sunday Musings….

Really looking forward to photographing this year’s brides and grooms. There is a wonderful mix of venues, ranging from wineries to hotels, city clubs to beaches. The couples are all unique and the brides all beautiful. Happy Sunday!

The Crown of Love

Crown making is a regular activity at my son’s Co-Op and I can’t tell you how amazing it is to see him prancing around like the king he is, wearing his crown. His walk is different, his demeanor so regal. Happy Saturday!

“The Crown of Love” by The Arcade Fire is a beautiful song…..though it has nothing to do with children. Still great.

The Green Post

Winters in California are a funny thing. In the northern parts, it rains. A lot!! When it rains, the hills literally come alive. The dull browns turn to jade green. On the coast, it looks like Ireland. Beautiful to say the least. Green….not just a color. A movement, an idea, a feeling or emotion, nature. Welcome 2010!

Christmas in California

Back in October I posted about how unseasonably warm it was for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Now it is unseasonably cold for Christmas. Funny how things work out sometimes. I don’t mind it so much since I was born and raised in the Washington D.C. area. This wonderfully chilly air reminds me of days past when we would bundle up to go out and play in the snow. Christmas activities included frolicking with cousins galore, eating the most delicious Italian meals and warming up with laughs and Holiday music. Ho, Ho, Ho!

Now we get to spend it in sunny California! Starting new traditions and singing to our own Holiday cheer!
