Silvana Difranco bio picture

~ Welcome ~

Many many thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at Silvana Di Franco Photography. I'm happy to share my personal and professional world with you. There will be a lot of Wedding Photography, musings on life and family, some food shots (I really like shooting food) and some just for fun entries. I have been taking pictures for a very long time. It all began with my father’s film camera & curiosity. I still use film but have adapted quite nicely to the joys and freedom of digital.  Feel free to leave a comment. They are truly appreciated. If you need any information regarding pricing or scheduling, send an email using the contact form above. I will get right back to you. Cheers and congratulations!!

This feature is so amazing. This will give you a good idea of what the workshop was like for the attendees. It features all of our work. Many thanks go out to Kim Bamberg for all her hard work and her editorial eye. Enjoy!

How cool is this! Erin and Jason’s wedding on The Brides Cafe! I don’t know if you have ever popped over there, but it’s so refreshing. Janie has the best taste and her aesthetic is so clean and sophisticated! That is why I’m super over the top about her featuring me. Thank you Erin and Jason and to Janie! Happy Wednesday!

Part Three of Day 3

Our final shoot of the day was a gift! We where able to photograph Julie (above) and Gina (below) privately for a certain amount of time. What an experience! You really do learn so much about yourself as a director of sorts. I loved this day!

A Few of my…..

I have to admit…I’m a full blown sucker for packaging. I buy the product at first because it looks so great and all I do is envision it in a photograph. Then I taste….I know. This time around, I hit the jackpot. First up, this amazing concoction of tea, fruit, and love. From their web site “Twelve noon to midnight is a sophisticated and culinary inspired non-alcoholic beverage perfect for every occasion noon to midnight.” I served some to my friends and it was instantly well received (though some thought it would pair very nicely with Vodka and some mint). Next are these amazing chocolate bars from Tea Room Chocolates! The boxes are so nostalgic with an old time feel…the taste is outrageous. If you love chocolate and you want to try something a little different….these are for you! The flowers are from Trader Joes and the Lemon Cake is from Whole Foods. Great little gathering for a Tuesday afternoon!

The cute little table throw is actually part of a present I received for attending A Lovely Workshop. Actually, it’s a recyclable fabric wrap from the very unique Chewing The Cud! Stop by her Blog…you will love all the stationary, gifts and such.

You are a star!

I truly love photographing the “getting ready” part of the day. The bride is getting pampered, the dress is hung, the shoes are ready to wear. It’s all so anticipatory. Hope you are ready to be the star!
